Setup/Teardown Crew Ticket Program

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for setting up and tearing down temporary structures and power, along with other vital physical tasks before and after Saguaro Man. To recognize this hard work, we’re rewarding S/T crewmembers with discounted tickets to Saguaro Man.

🎟️🎟️ Contact DPW@azburners.org to express interest in a Half-Priced Ticket by working for the DPW Setup/Teardown Crew! 🎟️🎟️

Requirement: Work two setup/teardown shifts. 1 SHIFT MUST BE TEARDOWN. The other shift can be any DPW shift.

  • Each shift is from 8am-4pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
  • Setup/build shifts happen Friday-Tuesday before Saguaro Man.
  • Teardown/strike shifts happen Sunday-Monday after Saguaro Man.

No qualifications or tools/materials needed!

Regular DPW shifts are still available.

Additional Details

Communication Matters! Life happens. If extenuating circumstances prevent you from completing your shifts, contact the DPW lead as soon as possible. With clear communication, your discounted ticket eligibility can be reviewed.

No-show, No discounted ticket next year. If you do not show up for your scheduled shifts and we do not hear from you, you will not be eligible for future DPW specialty tickets.

Setup/Teardown shifts no longer available? This program is first come, first serve. In the event that all eligible shifts are already covered, we invite you to explore other volunteer opportunities. Standard volunteer hours do not count toward a S/T Crew discounted ticket.
