Queen Voney currently serves on the AZ Burner Leadership Team and has served as the Gate Lead for Saguaro Man for the past four years. 

Gigi

Burning since: 2003

Gigi has been an involved AZBurner for the past 18yrs.  She was the founding member of B.E.D. (Bureau of Erotic Discourse) and has run several successful BM Theme Camps.

Personal quote: “I may have joined the Burning Man community in 2009, but I have been a Burner all of my life.”

Point of pride: qqtpie dedicated four years to the tenacious pursuit of land to serve as the permanent home for AZ Burners.

Lisa (Sassy Cat)

Sassy Cat is new to AZBurner leadership but brings to the role the experience of coordinating logistics for large AZ theme camps (Catworld, Flamingos, and MOJP). Lisa also has highly applicable experience from her day job in the corporate world. This experience will be very beneficial to the Arizona Region’s future.

Arizona Artistic Inc

Arizona Artistic Inc (AA) is the culmination of years of dreaming and planning for a permanent home for AZ Burners. In February 2020, AA purchased 80 acres of land near Wilcox. Learn more about the land purchase.

AA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity managed by a three-person board who are charged with developing a long term governance plan and mission.

Arizona Artistic Conflagrators Inc

Arizona Artistic Conflagrators Inc (AAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity doing business as AZ Burners. It is an umbrella organization that hosts officially-sanctioned Burning Man events like Saguaro Man.

AAC owns bank accounts and PayPal accounts, carries insurance policies, and more to provide administrative structure behind AZ Burners events and activities.

AAC invests all revenue into art grants, event operations, local charities, etc.

Arizona Burners Without Borders

Arizona Burners Without Border (AZ BWB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity for creating positive change in Arizona through volunteer participation.

AZ BWB is a grassroots, volunteer-driven, community leadership program bringing meaningful change through the creativity of the local community who seek solutions. We support volunteers from around Arizona in innovative relief solutions and community resiliency projects.
