Saguaro Man 2026 – That’s A Wrap!
Thanks to the Co-Creators and all the volunteers, to the Theme Camps, to the Mutant Vehicles, and to everyone who participated in making Succulent Dystopia such an incredible event!
The After Burn report is nearly completed, and will be posted on our website later in June.
In the meantime, make your way over here to the community photo album. Add pictures that you took, and peruse the views of Saguaro Man 2026 from the eyes of your fellow AZ Burner community members.
Planning is already underway for Saguaro Man 2027! Mark your calendars for April 21-25. And be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities – there are so many ways to participate!
Welcome New Regional Contacts!
Welcome to Joel Professor Fantom Frackwater, Heathen John, Rene, Robert – God, Taymar PixieStix and Lionessa! We are so happy to have you onboard!
Our new RC’s are, as we speak, transitioning into their new roles, and you can expect to start hearing much more from them as the summer progresses.
You can see their pics and more about the region from the Burning Man Project perspective here.

New to Burning Man? Not new, but looking for ways to kick off your big push to get to the playa? We’re doing it a bit differently this year. Our Newbie Orientation will be held virtually, in 2 parts, on Sunday, June 14th.
Part 1: 10:00am, via Zoom and Burnersphere
You are invited to participate in a Global Newbie Event presented by Auntie Athena at Burnersphere, the official virtual Burning Man Experience. You can join via zoom or you can join Burnersphere (free) and attend the event inside the virtual Black Rock City. Either way you decide to attend, you will get a virtual tour of the playa and be introduced to all the things you need to know to prepare yourself for a great burn.
- More details are at https://burnersphere.com/event/newbie-orientation/
- Join the Facebook event at https://www.facebook.com/share/17ccXA9rNu/
Part 2: 4:00pm, via Zoom with some of your Arizona Regional Contacts
We’ll be ready to answer your questions, share our own experience and insights regarding getting to, being at, and decompressing from “that thing in the desert”. We’ll also have info by that time on our AZ Burners annual gathering on the playa and ways to connect with other AZ Burners heading to Black Rock City this year.
We have lots of information on our AZ Burners website – from packing lists to directions to recordings of past Newbie Events.
Hope to see you on the 14th and at Black Rock City 2026!
