Liability Waiver

DISCLAIMER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

  • By entering the event the ticket holder (“You”) voluntarily assume all risk of property loss or damage, personal or or bodily serious injury or death, which may occur by attending our events. You hereby forever release, discharge, and shall hold Arizona Regional Productions LLC, Arizona Artistic Conflagurators Inc. (doing business as AZ Burners), Arizona Artistic Inc, the Burning Man Project, Black Rock City LLC, and the government of Cochise County, AZ harmless from any claims. You agree to waive, release and discharge any and all claims against AZ Burners, event producers, performers, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, volunteers, and other event attendees for damages, including personal injury, theft or damage to personal property, or death to yourself or to others that may arise, or that may subsequently accrue, as a result of your attendance at an AZ Burners event.
  • Art installations, theme camps, vehicles at the event (e.g. mutant vehicles or art cars), and performances are not owned or operated by AZ Burners, and you hereby voluntarily assume all risk of injury or death arising from their operation. You agree to respect the burnable art and maintain a safe distance from the time they are lit until their coals are cool.
  • You have read the AZ Burners’ Code of Conduct and understand violating the rules can result in being banned from events, with no refund. You also agree to abide by the 11 Principles adopted by AZ Burners. AZ Burners reserves the right to deny anyone access to the property and the event or have them removed for any reason at any time.
  • AZ Burner events are private events on private property, and not open to the general public. You must have a ticket to enter the event.
  • You must be 21 years old or over to attend this event without a parent or legal guardian. Government issued photo IDs will be checked at the gate. Children under 18 years of age can attend the event only accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible party. Any persons bringing a child to the event agrees on behalf of the child to the contractual terms of the ticket and acknowledges that they have made a choice that the child may be exposed to expressive activities and dress at the event. 
  • Any person bringing a dog or other pet to the event must first purchase a ticket for the animal, and abide by the Dog Agreement. Bringing an animal in without a ticket will result in you having to leave the event immediately, and banned from future events.
  • You are 100% responsible for you camp, personal wellbeing, personal property, minor children, and pets. You will clean up you camp area and any debris caused by your art, packing it all out when leaving. This is a leave no trace event. Pack it in. Pack it out.
  • The “AZ Burner, Saguaro Man, and AZ Decompression” names and logos are the property of Arizona Artistic Conflagrators, Inc, and as such control all rights regarding the licensing and reproduction of any imagery recorded at AZ Burner events.
  • AZ Burners seek to protect the artists who participate in the event and each artist’s copyright ownership of their art, as well as the privacy of the event attendees. All images, video, and filmmaking are for personal use only, and not for that of any other person, organization, media company, or other entity. Media cannot be sold, transferred or given to any other party. Any use, other than personal, requires written permission from AZ Burner organizers.
  • No commercial use of images allowed without a signed written agreement from the event organizers and the people shown in the images. Participants wearing a red rubber bracelet are to be removed or blurred from all photos.
  • Advertising or offering any items or services for sale is prohibited.
  • Reselling tickets above face value is prohibited. Violators will have their tickets canceled and will not receive a refund.
  • This event is held in a remote, hostile desert environment. The nearest emergency help is more than 45 minutes from the event location. There is no water, food, or fuel within 25 miles of this property. There is also no power or phones on this property. Attendees must come prepared with food, water, shelter, warm clothing and bedding, and anything else needed to survive during this event. Should you leave, there will be no re-entry to the event.
  • Due to the nature of large-scale art at this event, the remote location, the local environment, and rapidly changing weather conditions, death or serious personal injury can occur.
