La Paz County Park
7350 Riverside Dr.
Parker, AZ 85344

Bring your lawn chairs, rafts, towels and sunscreen. Its time for SCORCHED FEET! This is a relaxed campout on the Colorado River. Just come hang out with other Burners and have fun.

The plan is for everyone to get camp spaces near each other, and if we have enough interest, we may be able to reserve a group space. I would like to get us spaces beside the river that come with a ramada and a picnic table. These are dry camping spaces and do not have electricity. It should be $14 a day per vehicle (2 people), and $2 per person per day for extras. We are not able to reserve spaces.

Pets are allowed on leash and there is a $20 deposit.

The park has a fishing lagoon, volleyball, softball, tennis and horseshoes. You need your own equipment for these activities. If the water temperature is good, we can have a tube float. A boat would also be good if anyone has one.

Parker is about 20 minutes away, but the park is very near several restaurants, bars and small stores for people who need a dose of civilization.

This is a public park; standard rules apply and a 10pm quiet time. We can have fires in burn barrels, so bring wood.

BYOE-Bring Your Own Everything. Whatever you need to camp, eat, drink and generally survive for a weekend.

Please email me kt.kate(at)gmail(dot)com if you are interested in coming, so I know how many spaces to try to get. We can plan potlucks and the like if people want. I will get directions posted later.
