Fiesta De Los Muertos

Fiesta de los Muertos is a Halloween / Day of the Dead party to benefit All Souls' Procession. Costumes are encouraged but not required. This is a private Burner-style party with the same community rules and expectations of behavior. Nudity is allowed; alcohol is allowed but you must BYO. Children and those under 21 will be allowed but they must be accompanied by a responsible party, and it's up to their parents if they feel a Burner-type atmosphere is right for them. Feel free to invite friends as long as you know they will be respectful. Please bring what you need, take home what you bring, and leave no trace.

We will be providing food and drink, but we'd also like to encourage people who are coming to bring a dish, food, etc. There will be crash space and you're welcome to spend the night. There will be a snuggle/chill space, and we'll have hookah (I have three and tons of new flavors I'd love to share) and decorate sugar skulls, and we'll be reviving the tradition of the "Werewolf" game.

Several of our lovely community members will be showcasing their fire talents.

If you'd like to spin (DJ or fire!), perform music, bring art, or any other talent you'd like to offer, please do. Feel free to bring drums and instruments. There will be electric hookup and a performance space for bands and DJ's.

We will be raising money for the All Souls Procession, an annual arts event that draws thousands of costumed revelers and puppeteers to downtown Tucson, Arizona to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos. It costs the organizers some $72,000 to put the parade on every year, and the depend completely on private donations. (More info at All Souls Procession) There is a $10 suggested donation, and we will be having a raffle of Halloween and other cool items. (If you have anything you'd like to donate, please contact Jenna).

Fiesta de los Muertos is located at 3121 N. 27th Place in Phoenix. From 28th St and Thomas, go north on 28th St and turn west on Earll, which is the second street after Thomas. 27th Place is the next street on right, and 3121 is at the back of the cul-de-sac. Please park on Earll, not on 27th place so as to not disturb neighborhood parking.
