AZBurners Fire Sculpture Work Party
Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Cosmic Steel in Prescott, AZ
A map is at http://www.zenzibar.com/CosmicSteel/map.htm

We will start working at 10AM and start partying when we are tired of working.

This will be the final work party. The plan is to finish the trim and decorate the three fire towers by welding on skeleton plate pieces and cutting holes to emit light using the plasma cutter. This should be the most fun of all the work parties because we should be able to set it up and have a test burn in the evening.

If you are working, please wear long sleeve shirts and closed toe shoes. Sparks from welding hurt! Also bring work gloves, eye protection and ear plugs if you have them. I have some extra of this stuff so, if you don't have it, don't let that stop you from coming. I have all the equipment we need so you don't need to bring your own grinders, etc. If you have your own welding hood, bring it.

Bring your own food and drink. I will have a gas barbecue and a big camp cookstove available. There will be fire, music, and fun. Hopefully it will be reasonably warm, too.

I have floor space and a couch if someone wants to spend the night. There may be others in Prescott that can host an overnighter, too.

Pictures of some of the previous work parties are at

See you soon?

Any questions or to RSVP - contact me off list.

Whoopee!
